A useful model comparison starts with the image you need to deliver. A square product photo, a portrait poster and a wide website banner call for different framing. Choose the ratio first, then compare models with the same brief.
GPT Image 2: start with a text-led brief
GPT Image 2 supports text-to-image generation in LoveImage. The current selector offers 1K output and eleven framing choices, including automatic framing. Write the subject, composition and any visible words explicitly, then inspect the lettering in the result. Do not assume a model will reproduce every character correctly.
Choose from the resolution and framing options shown in the workspace when preparing your image.
Nano Banana 2: choose the output size
Nano Banana 2 offers 1K, 2K and 4K settings in the current workspace. Start at the size appropriate to your draft, then inspect fine details at the resolution needed for delivery. A larger file does not guarantee that faces, logos or small text will be correct.
For image-to-image work, select Nano Banana 2 and upload a reference image to guide the result.
Seedream 5 Pro: compare two resolution tiers
Seedream 5 Pro exposes 1K and 2K output here. Keep the prompt and ratio consistent when comparing the two tiers so you can judge whether the extra detail helps your brief.
Imagen 4: keep the test focused
Imagen 4 offers five aspect ratios in the current workspace, plus negative-prompt and seed controls. Resolution selection is not available for this model in LoveImage. Check the dimensions of the returned file before planning a print layout.
A comparison you can repeat
Write one short brief with a subject, setting, light and composition. Generate a first pass with two models, using the same aspect ratio. Compare the details that matter to your project: subject accuracy, readable text, clean edges and room for your layout.
Change one instruction at a time and keep notes alongside the outputs. The workspace shows the credit cost before submission. Use the image generator to try the available models; evaluate the generated files themselves rather than treating a model name as a quality guarantee.
